Salsa Sam (Malaysia)
First a foremost a social dancer, "SalsaSam" enjoys dancing around in the clubs every week, and is well known as one of the better leaders in the Kuala Lumpur salsa scene. His preferred style is "On1" cross-body style, but enjoys "On2" and Rueda, and passionately believes in Salsa as a great lifestyle choice. As an Instructor, he has brought up students who love to social dance and has taught at a few Festivals. As a Director of Havana Estudio, he has trained student performers to represent Malaysia at Salsa Congresses and Festivals in Singapore, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Many of his dancers are now teaching around the Klang Valley. Together with Aisha, he teaches a structured 6-level Salsa programme at their little studio in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, and continues to be proud of all his students who become great ambassadors to this dance.
Aisha Mansoor (Malaysia)
Known as the Salsera who brought Groove to the KL Salsa scene, she is known to be a real pleasure to dance with, and can make the youngest Beginner look good on the dance floor. She is sought after as an inspiration to many dancers in the Salsa scene, for her spontaneous styling, great positive attitude, and her love for social dancing. As a performer, she has been the lead dancer for dance teams representing Malaysia to Singapore, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, and continues to raise the level of dancing wherever she goes. She teaches 4 levels of Salsa classes at Havana Estudio, and firmly believes in including spin techniques and styling for ladies in all partnerwork classes.
