Raymund has been dancing Salsa for 6 years now but it all came together when he partnered up with Rachel and was invited to be part of the Modus Vivendi team in 2007. A few months into their partnership they completed their first routine and started performing at all the major Salsa venues and festivals in Sydney. On top of their solo efforts, they were also performing with Modus Vivendi, headed by Nestor & Lidia, at the time the only international student team in Australia. With their dynamic and highly entertaining routines Raymund & Rachel have come from being virtual unknowns to household names in the Sydney Salsa scene, all within a span of a year.

Raymund believes that you should take all you can from Salsa, recreate it and make it your own, then use that to recreate yourself.
